The 964 (introduced in 1989) ushered in a new era for Porsche including a chassis-based on the 959 and available AWD. The 3.6L flat-six produced a prodigious 247hp and continues to fetch a high resale price thanks to the restoration market driven by the likes of Singer reimagined and Guntherwerks.
