As Carroll Shelby was busy collecting an FIA championship with the Daytona Cobra Coupe (the first and only F1 championship for any American Manufacturer) AND preparing to embarrass Ferrari again in LeMans in consecutive years with the GT40, the 'little engine that could' (the OG Shelby GT350) quietly went about destroying the B Production Class from 65-67.
